/fursa/ is a Swahili word of Arabic origin meaning opportunity, progress or a chance for advancement.


Since founding Razorpoint our mission has been to help solve the problem of diversity and inclusion in tech. In the past three years of us working in the industry and promoting diversity, we have seen that only 15% of the technology workforce is from BAME backgrounds and gender diversity is currently sitting at 19% compared to the 49% for all other industries.

The issue is much bigger than the company level and it stems much earlier. We have launched the Fursa programme to help tackle this problem at the root. Through our partnerships with schools and other organisations, our mission is to shine a light on the wonderful world of technology and encourage the next generation of future female leaders.
