Sami Sharif

Founder and Director

Sami is no stranger to diversity in people, thought or work environments. He was born and partially raised in East Africa, Scotland and now lives in London. As a graduate of accountancy and finance, Sami worked as an analyst at Morgan Stanley and later at PricewaterhouseCoopers. These experiences gave him a good understanding of business and in 2017 he began his career as an entrepreneur, his true passion. Continuing from his first business which he started while at university, Sami founded sports apparel business Piyax which he later sold. Since then, Sami became exposed to the incredible world of tech and the inherent lack of diversity that existed in companies like Google to smaller startups in London. In 2020, he set about on a mission to solve that problem and founded Razorpoint. An avid traveller, Sami has travelled and lived in several countries including Tanzania, Saudi Arabia and China.

Kwame Asembo

Recruitment Consultant

Kwame was born in Oxford but grew up in Newbury. He moved to London to study Undergraduate Law at the University of West London and further obtained a Masters in Law at BPP University. While completing his studies, he worked part time at a pub and rose to become one of the managers. Originally wanting a career as a Solicitor, he felt disillusioned with the lack of diversity and wasn’t happy. Kwame has since been revitalised in the recruitment field and is eager to soak up as much knowledge and expertise as possible. He loves playing and watching sports with his particular favourites being Football and Rugby. He is a passionate Liverpool FC and London Irish RFC fan and interestingly enough has a signed autobiography from footballing legend, Pelé, who is widely regarded as one of the best players of all time. That’ll be worth a pretty penny in the future. Kwame is also a keen gamer and a lover of movies. You’ll be hard pressed to find a movie he hasn’t watched.
